A Season of Giving

This time of year we are so up in the air on what to do.  This year we decided we wanted to do Advent along with blessing others in some way.  I won't be posting what we do because its not about us. Its about being Jesus in skin to others.  However if your family has been thinking about doing this I wanted to post some ideas.

Random Acts of Kindness

Ring the Bell for Salvation Army
Bake Cookies for neighbors or community service people such as Police or Fire  Fighters.
Volunteer at soup kitchens or Gods Food Pantry.
Singing and visiting nursing homes.
Walking and playing with dogs at the Humane Society.
Pay for someones meal or groceries.
Offer free babysitting to a friend.
Give out hot coco to people waiting for public transportation.
Give fruit baskets or snack baskets to waiting areas at hospitals.
Leave change taped to vending machines.
Spending time at local teen pregnancy centers.
Baking treats for your ministry teams at church.
Make a meal for a new mom or family that has recently lost a job.

There are so many ways you can  show Jesus's love and prayerfully can tell people about Him too on the way.
